Tonight, I was an Star (or Angel) Guide for the young children at the Waldorf school. Dressed in all white and doning a golden wand, we sang songs and led the children down a pathway past Mother Goose nursery rhymes. Luminaries lit the path to impromptu stages where Hey Diddle Diddle, Jack Horner, Jack Be Nimble, Little Miss Muffit and many more performed. There was also a pumpkin house that looked amazing with all the jack-o-lanterns lit up within it. My favorite skit was Old King Cole put on by some of the school’s fifth graders. They played pentatonic flute, cello and violin and sang. It was quite impressive. The early education teachers and staff, some parents, a few of the 2nd year education students, and the first year students were all involved.
Prior to the evening’s events, I pulled a card from my Druid Animal Oracle to see ask for guidance for my own guidance. I pulled the Earth Dragon.

Power, Potential, Riches
It is interesting that my own spirit guide during this cosmic quest is the Earth Dragon. How fitting the connection between the stars and the earth, the symbiosis of above and below, of yin and yang. I especially like this phrase written in the book, “By coming to know and love the Earth Dragon we will be able to unlock the secrets of our heart, and at the same time we will find ourselves discovering the beauty and the power that lie within the hearts of those around us and in the very earth itself.”
A fitting meditation for tonight’s quest.
